Giving Green For The Holiday!
Unwanted + Consumer Products = Junk
Many homes will have new products arriving from Walmart or Target to upgrade their way of life. Gifts or Giveaway packages is a common practice in the U.S. around Christmas.
As new consumer products enter the home, space is needed for them. Unwanted items that take up valuable space in the home is removed from the property. The unwanted items usually can become donations or trash.
Donations is a good practice and any unwanted item in good , working condition should always be given to needy individuals or non-profit organizations.
When items can’t be given away, because they’re broken, or have “no real use” as a consumer product, then the best thing to do is to recycle it (not trash it!).
Recycle or Scrap facilities may be located in your area, the best way to find out is to do a quick search on Google and type the words “recycle and your city + zip code ” and it should pull up information about them. Call their number and find out what they accept or other information.
